Dr. Christopher Goemans: ISCR Visiting Scholar
ISCR will host Professor Christopher Goemans of Colorado State University's Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics.
Chris's research focuses on the allocation and management of scarce resources, specifically water. Past efforts include studies investigating the impacts associated with water transfers, the relationship between increased climatic variability and the effectiveness of various regional water management schemes, and optimal demand management strategies during periods of drought. Professor Goemans has received many awards for his research as well as being published in the Journal of the American Water Resources Association. He plans to conduct research in the area of water storage during his visit.
